PDFs with photos or scanned pages can be too heavy to send. This tool re-compresses the images in the PDF to shrink it and shows how much you saved.
To be honest: it works very well on scans and photos, but a text-only PDF is already optimized, and compressing it may grow the size and remove selectable text. If we detect a lot of text, we warn you first.
